I worked with Bailey to do a 3’ back up. This is the finished “product.” Back up is a behavior that is useful as an alternative to jumping or moving toward other people. It helps make space between the dog and something else. Back up is a very useful skill for service dogs, who need to be able to maneuver in different circumstances to help their person.
