My commitment to providing the best service
Earlier this year I completed two courses as part of my commitment to provide the best service to my clients. I love learning and keeping up with the most up-to-date, humane, evidence-based knowledge and training techniques to support my clients and their pups with lasting behavior change. In addition to taking formal courses, I love reading, listening to podcasts on animal behavior and training, and seek out opportunities to learn from other pet professionals by shadowing and assisting when I can.

When your dog is feeling overwhelmed or anxious, it can turn the whole grooming experience into a stressful event, not just for the groomer but for your pup too, which makes each visit more dreadful for both parties.
The good news? Training your dog to stay cool and calm makes grooming easier, safer, and a whole lot more fun for everyone involved!

From Kibble to Kale: How Your Dog's Diet Shapes Their Mood and Moves
When a client’s dog starts showing unexpected behaviors, one of my first questions is, “When was your last vet visit?” Illness or pain can cause sudden changes in behavior, especially as dogs age. But there are more critical links between health and behavior that’s directly tied to what’s in your dog’s bowl.

Interview with Rahmi Massarweh, Founder and Chef of Dogue
I live near Valencia Street, where Dogue’s flagship store is located. I had heard about and seen the shop when bicycling up and down Valencia but had never been in until I decided to drop in one day. I introduced myself to Rahmi, who warmly greeted me. I asked him if he’d be open to an interview and to my delight, he agreed.
